Description

Presented is a beautiful sterling silver soup or punch ladle from Gorham. This piece is in the Strasbourg pattern, which was patented in 1897. This pattern displays an elegant scroll edge along the handle. The ladle bowl has an interesting scallop shape. There is a monogram on the front of the handle, an S in a flowing script. The reverse is marked sterling along with the maker's mark for Gorham and the patent date of 1897. This piece is in excellent overall condition.
