Presented is a large, sterling silver punch or soup ladle made by Towle. This piece is in the Lafayette pattern, which was patented in 1905. This piece was made during the first half of the 1900s. The front of the pointed handle is finely engraved with leaf designs surrounding a P monogram. The back is marked for Towle and sterling silver purity. This piece is in excellent overall condition.
